Statement of Faith
The following Statement of Faith represents the biblical beliefs upon which Grayson-Collin Christian Co-op is founded. While members may come from various Christian church backgrounds, all member families are expected to support and uphold these beliefs while participating in GCCC activities.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son. He lived a sinless life, died as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes on our behalf.Â
Salvation
We believe that all people are sinners in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God's grace and is found through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and is the foundation for Christian faith and practice.
Creation
We believe that God is the Creator of all things and that mankind was uniquely created in His image.
Marriage and Family
We believe that God established marriage as a covenant relationship between one man and one woman and that the family is God's foundational institution for nurturing and raising children.
